Oblivion Mega-Thread
Hello guys!
This thread is purely about Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion. Post all your tips, walkthroughs, w.e about
Oblivion and I'll add them to this thread.
Vampirism: Vampires is cool, does alot of damage, is stealthy and got alot of sweet spells. The benefits about vampires is really awesome, but some parts about them is really bad. If you haven't feeded in a couple of hours/days/w.e, you'll lose your vampire benefits, you will be very vulnerable to sunlight and alot of people won't talk with you, which makes you unable to ex. buy a room for a night in a inn or just talk with people. But if you have been feeded, you will get several times stronger and will deal massive damage and your spells will be a great benefit to you. In this condition, you are resistant to sunlight and won't lose damage from it. Not being able to walk around outside in the day is a really, really bad thing since you only can do quests in the night. Imagine you have to buy that super sweet claymore from the smith, but you can't enter his house without picklocking his door and steal his gear?
- And if you have to do a quest where you have to move from the Imperial City to close a Gate of Oblivion, or do whatever which is far away, you will most likely die on the trip there, even if you use quick travel.
Being a vampire is cool, but when you run out of picklocks and aren't able to feed, your most likely a dead fish.
I'm a vampire myself in Oblivion is trying to get some new picklocks so I can feed, which is really difficult.
Best tip: If you get infected by a Vampire with his vampire disease, get to a healer or something and get the sickness cured.
Of course it's your own choice and vampires is a cool and exciting advantage in Oblivion, it's also have it's disadvantages.
