Hack N Slash games? Empty Hack N Slash games?

Did anyone realized U.S is lacking hack and slash games? i mean clicky ones are usually 3d but...alot of hack and slash is side scroll, clicky clicky games = you click, you follow, you get mobbed, you die, hack and slash = own almost everything. i mean the only hack and slash games i know in U.S is Ghost X, i didnt include maple cuz its side scroll, and i mean hack and slash like...player vs monster not Gunz style.
